The final bell rang, a solemn sound,
Marking the end of the home we found.
The bustling halls now stand so still,
A bittersweet ache against my will.
For years we longed to break away,
Yet now I wish that we could stay.
We called it a cage, we dreamed of flight,
But never thought we'd miss its light.
The morning prayers, the whispered plans,
The endless talks, the joined hands.
The scolding voices, the playful fights,
The sleepless chats on restless nights.
Laughter lingers, soft yet strong,
In memories where we belong.
We hugged, we cried, we wished for more,
But time moves on, it shut the door.
The future calls, it pulls too fast,
Yet I just want to make this last.
Though life moves on, though paths extend,
I don't want school to end like this.
